A PVC thermal break inner frame acts as a barrier to prevent condensation build up. Condensation develops when cold and warm temperatures mix. Western Skylights incorporates a PVC frame design with a built-in gutter system too. This design allows any condensation to flow along the gutter to the bottom of the skylight through weep holes diverting any moisture outside onto the roof deck.
