Anodizing is an electrochemical conversion process that changes the surface chemistry of metals. The resulting finish is scratch resistant, beautiful, protects against corrosion, and is one of the most durable surfaces available. For all of these reasons, we use anodized aluminum to create the outer frames for all of our Western Skylight products.
